I wanted to share my Paragard vs Mirena story with you for two reasons.

So I got Mirena pulled out and Paragard put in on the same appointment and I had pretty bad cramping for about 8 hours after that.
Ive had Paragard for 2 12 years and dont get acne other than a few pimples on ocassion from my own hormones and as a PP stated. I posted recently in another Paragard thread that it took about a year to a year and a half for my periods to calm down and the bleeding to be more in line with what I thought was a normal period.
